硬脂酸鎂的其他問題:

1. 產品難於溶解及吸收
加入硬脂酸鎂之後,營養素會變得難以溶解,1985年4月於藥劑期刊  ---- 藥劑技術(Pharmaceutical Technology)  的一項研究發現,沒有添加硬脂酸鎂的有90%會於20分鐘內溶解,但是添加了硬脂酸鎂的只有25%可於20分鐘內溶解,換句話說,硬脂酸鎂把藥品的可溶解性減少了  65% !!!

因此,添加了硬脂酸鎂之後,膠囊內的營養素根本有大部份不能在腸內被釋放,而且,如果消化力不佳的人服用了此類藥品,更會造成腸胃的問題。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. 可引起敏感症
美國有機消費者協會 (The Organic Consumers  Association) 指出硬脂酸鎂可引起敏感,尤其對於奶類敏感者更易於對硬脂酸鎂敏感。
   
3. 肝臟傷害
Science lab  於2005年作出警告,口服硬脂酸鎂可引致肝臟損害。
   
4. 毒害免疫系統
硬脂酸鎂及硬脂酸均會損害細胞膜而針對T淋巴細胞,造成免疫系統紊亂,更可能因此出現病變及癌症。

原來這添加物只是幫助減低NUSKIN的製作成本,因為混合幾種營養東西之後,它們會互相黏著,而且會黏著部機器,當有部份製成品黏上機器,就自然要花人力物力去刮下,於是製作的時間及成本就會增加。
 

添加了硬脂酸鎂,產品就不會黏著機器,製作成本就平很多!
 

所以這添加物只為了減低成本,以盡量謀取更大的利潤。不過這會減低產品質素,而且如果長期進食,已有報告顯示可引致嚴重的毒害。
 

為甚麼要NUSKIN要添加硬脂酸鎂(Magnesium  stearate)?

為甚麼仍可以合法使用硬脂酸鎂?

因為聯邦法中Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Volume 3 把硬脂酸鎂列為 GRAS (公認為安全的物質)。 GRAS (公認為安全的物質) 就是指在1958年1月1日美國立法管制添加物(Food Additives Amendment of 1958) 之前趕及"抵壘" 的添加物。 意思是:從來沒有數據表示它們是安全的,只有當時沒有立法管制,又有太多添加物已經有商家使用,為免衝突,就叫它安全吧!
